Fishing Chef is actively updated. Check the live shop, quest panel, and rod stat card before spending currency or Robux.
Weight first when a catch is blocked
If a target exceeds what your equipped rod can land, extra Luck does not solve that hard limit. Compare current Weight Capacity before any other community tier label.
The exact target weights and rod caps are patch-sensitive and were not officially published in the Roblox description.
Speed for repeated farming
When the current target is already reliable, Speed may reduce the time spent repeating the fishing loop. Test on the same target and under the same conditions.
Luck for rare-target sessions
Community guides associate Luck with rarer catches, while the community wiki also describes weather and boosts as changing outcomes.
Do not attribute a short lucky streak to the rod alone. Compare enough repeated attempts and record weather or active boosts.
Final pre-purchase check
Confirm the live rod name, acquisition method, cost, and stats. Compare it with the equipped rod and any reachable quest reward, then decide whether the measured benefit beats a stall upgrade.
Unknown: future balance changes can reorder every community tier. The checklist survives those changes because it starts from the live bottleneck.
